What projects/initiatives does your employer run and what have you worked on personally?
Transgrid is very engaged with indigenous communities where our assets may be situated near indigenous land. By working with indigenous communities, we try to mitigate as much damage to the land as possible.

There has been a high involvement in Transgrid with certain universities (Newcastle in particular) to provide scholarships for students; there is a Reconciliation Action Plan in place at the company which implements our commitment to support, maintain and build our relationship with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
