Recruitment Process

Our 3 Step Recruitment Process

Step 1: Application 

Becketts Lawyers is a signatory to the LIV Guidelines. Applications for the 2025 Becketts Lawyers Graduate Program will open at 10am Thursday, 8 August 2024 and will close 11:59 pm on Wednesday, 21 August 2024.

Candidates need to submit the following documents by clicking the "Apply Now" button:

Step 2: Interviews

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete one or more in-person interviews. 

Selected candidates will also be given the opportunity to have an informal chat with a member of our junior team to ask any questions and gain insights into the team dynamics and workplace culture. 

Step 3: Offers!

In line with LIV Guidelines, offers will not be made before Wednesday, 2 October 2024. 

The Ideal Candidate will have: 

  • Completed or be on track to complete a law degree and ready to commence their grad position by the end of February 2025 with excellent academic results. 
  • Relevant experience in commercial law, preferably including private practice such as vacation clerkships. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong motivation, and a proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
