Working in the Financial, Professional and Executive Risks (FINEX) team in Sydney or Melbourne, the successful candidate will be responsible for and trained in, servicing and growing an existing book of clients. As part of a vibrant and successful team, key areas of accountability will include client servicing, insurance market management and negotiation, and an ability to work cross-functionally with other WTW teams.

The Role 

Ensuring that the client’s risk management and insurance broking programmes are administered to ensure the delivery of high-quality services including:  

  • Reviewing each client’s risk management and insurance objectives to ensure the delivery of high-quality services   
  • Collaborating across teams to manage larger or more complex risk and insurance programs  
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with clients, colleagues and insurers  
  • Understanding the various business units and capabilities within the WTW and bringing this collective experience and expertise to clients as and when the opportunity and/or need arises 
  • Understanding and managing the revenue generated from the existing client base through analysis of client profitability and maximisation of group facilities  
  • Actively seek new business opportunities, leverage your existing network and proactively expanding your network.  
  • Promoting the WTW brand within the insurance industry and amongst clients, prospects and other professional networks  
  • Preparation of client documentation and ensuring accuracy before distribution to clients and insurers  
  • Ensure all documentation is prepared in accordance with company service and compliance procedures and tools  
  • Ensuring the timely and accurate production/processing of quotes, reports, invoices, premium and adjustments calculations 
  • Management of client’s claims to ensure agreed claims standards are achieved and timely settlements made  
  • Support team to ensure compliance with all specified business management processes  
  • Assist other brokers in the team when required under 

The Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Economics, Finance or Law. 
  • Willingness to work towards your Tier 1 Insurance qualifications                                                                                               
  • Exposure to insurance broking and/or legal industry preferred 
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, both on an individual and group basis  
  • Reasonable level of competency in Word and Excel and knowledge of PowerPoint  
  • Understanding of claims management processes  
  • Broad business and economic understanding  
  • A customer-centric approach and a strong desire to understand and meet a client’s needs  
  • Good time management skills and a proactive approach to working  
  • Professionalism, reliability, and an ability to work in a team and autonomously when required
