As a Graduate Account Executive in our Risk & Broking Team, you will utilise your interpersonal skills to contribute to all aspects of client service by assisting the team to maintain and grow its existing portfolio. This requires a high degree of skill, judgement and acuity which is best learned on the job.  As an independent consulting company our advice is tailored to every client.  That makes your role varied.  As a Graduate with WTW, you can expect to participate in delivering these real outcomes to real clients.

The Role:

  • Assistance in the management of a portfolio of clients with a focus on client retention and business development
  • Contributing to the operations, promotion and marketing of the WTW brand to ensure ongoing growth and profitability
  • Collaboration with other colleagues to facilitate the growth and success of Willis Towers Watson
  • Ensuring the service standards delivered to WTW’s clients exceed their expectations
  • Identifying insurable risks and designing and negotiating appropriate insurance solutions for the client
  • Developing and maintaining business relationships with new and existing clients and insurers

The Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • An interest in broking and or insurance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of PC-based software applications for analysis and reporting, particularly MS Excel
  • Attention to detail
  • Successfully able to work as an individual as well as part of a team
  • Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
  • Ability to identify and solve problems creatively
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and manage time effectively
  • Passion to acquire, share, and disseminate new information and knowledge
  • Evidence of relationship building skills
  • Proactive approach to meeting customers’ needs
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Ideally, some extra-curricular activity which displays drive, initiative, teamwork and customer relations
  • Willingness to achieve your Tier 1 (Insurance Broking) qualification
