There are certain power and water saving measures throughout the office that are put in place. The sustainability team is constantly working to optimise the efficiencies of our projects from an environmental standpoint, with a strong focus on designing for the future.

It is a massive focus of the company, NetZero is a key goal in all projects and works

Think they have some target to be net zero. Lots of sensors to turn equipment off in the office. Often encourage clients to be more conscious and do more in this space.
Graduate, Melbourne - 28 Mar 2022
Net Zero/Future Ready policies, green workspace, etc.
Graduate, Brisbane - 25 Mar 2022
Future Ready programs and the Net Zero push is great

Management should encourage people to WFH at least part time to encourage a reduction of the environmental footprint. I don't understand why the Melbourne office is moving to a bigger space on Collins street when a lot of people are still working from home and we are supposedly trying to decrease our impact on the environment

I am disappointed by the use of single use items and packaging! Everyone buys takeaway coffees and barely anyone uses keep cups! There are individually wrapped coffee sachets, tea bags etc (unsure if this is a COVID measure) but it is disappointing when the environmental team does not make more effort. I have been encouraging others to use their own mugs for takeaway coffee.

General office initiatives. Underwhelming for an environmental based company

Our building is automated to ensure the NABERS star ratings are upheld. I.e automatic heating/cooling/curtains at certain exposure to elements.
Graduate, Brisbane - 15 Mar 2022
There is a heavy focus on sustainability and environmental footprint. There are specific projects undertaken to reduce emissions to zero.
Graduate, Sydney - 15 Mar 2022
My team is 100% focused on this, and I am aware that overall the company does have ambition in this area. However it is unclear to me how committed they are to putting this into action.... as a big engineering/mining company
