Training & Personal Development at Woodside Energy

Training had no structure and only support from other team members.

A lot of learning / training opportunities up for grabs. But sometimes non-technical related mandatory training eats into my work hours.

Graduate training focusses on competency development, with good networking and learning opportunities with senior engineers. Recent organisation changes does place less emphasis on gradate intake and formal development

We are able to access a large range of training, and can also apply for external training dependant on approval and support from your manager.

Poor (no) training focus in the last 6 months

Very strong leadership training program.

A lot of soft skill training is provided (e.g. Navigator) which is great. In technical roles there are also a lot of technical training available for all staff\.

Navigator has been rolled out really well.

The budget has been reduced, but I feel there is still great learning opportunities around

wish there was more, good to upskill workforce

Many training opportunities available Entire E-catalogue available in an easily accessible portal.
