As most workplaces, the demographic of employees is probably majority of white Caucasians. Having said that, the project places a strong emphasis on Diversity and there are many support programs in place for employees. The project are also very accepting of personal views on religion, sexuality etc. It is highly unlikely that you would experience bullying or harassment in this workplace.

There are not a lot of women in the engineering and IT sectors, however, there are initiatives to address the gender imbalance. There are also initiatives looking at increasing indigenous participation, and GEN44 internship programs. There are also groups such as Bent Rail for LGBT staff.

The talent team has made a great effort to encourage all sorts of candidates to apply to the graduate program, and it shows based on the people in this year's graduate cohort. The work-life flexibility is great for people to take time off work for personal matters, plus there are various sessions and people to consult for any other assistance or advice so no need to worry about any of that.
