We have a large focus on green initiatives as we are the department for environment. As such, there are multiple initiatives in place to reduce our footprint.

It goes without saying that DWER is a champion on green initiatives and being environmentally conscious. DWER is an active participant in several environmental initiatives, including FOGO (Food Organic and Garden Organic waste recycling), Keep Australia Beautiful campaign, 'Be a Great Sort!' (plastic recycling) campaign, and are committed to reducing its per-capita carbon footprint.
