Your role

As a Graduate Intelligence Analyst at Thales, you will work on interesting and innovative projects.  Many of the contracts are with local defence and government agencies, and Thales needs the brightest grads to join the team.

The Thales Graduate Program is a two-year program and can offer a specialist program for you to become an expert in your field. You can expect the following:

  • All graduates are offered permanent roles at Thales Group.
  • Experience multiple graduate days at the Melbourne and Sydney offices.
  • Experience a structured learning and development program to assist you on your journey.

On any one day, you can expect to:

  • Independently undertake simple collection and analysis of activities.
  • Author intelligence products and briefings.
  • Undertake discrete continuous improvement projects in coordination with other team members.
  • Monitor the open-source information environment for changes.
  • Participate in customer engagement activities as an advocate for the Thales Intelligence Centre.

About you

Requirements:

  • Recent degree qualification in Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Computer Technology, Law, International Relations, or similar disciplines with a minimum credit average, or be in the final year of completing for graduation
  • Sound understanding of national security legislation and compliance regimes
  • Technically literate with a sound knowledge of open-source technology
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work within a diverse and inclusive team environment, results-focused, resilient, resourceful, and a thirst for solving problems
  • The initiative, inquisitiveness, and desire to challenge yourself and continuously keep learning
