The Opportunity

The TasWater Graduate Program is a 2-year structured, competency-based program with three x 8-month rotations across various areas of our business. The 2024 program has opportunities for graduates from Engineering, Data Science, Finance/Accounting and Legal disciplines.

Although we are in the utilities industry we incorporate many other industries, which means there is a career path for everyone. We have over 950 employees working together throughout Tasmania in a range of fields including operations, engineering, project delivery, environmental science, asset management, digital and technology, customer services, finance, human resources and administration. We are all here to make a positive difference to Tasmania.

Graduates can be located in Hobart, Devonport or Launceston. Hybrid work arrangements and flexible start and finish times are available. The positions attract a commencing salary package of $86K per annum (including superannuation). 

Your Application

To be eligible for the program, you must: 

  • Be graduating from a relevant Bachelor qualification* by 3 March 2024, or;
  • Have graduated from a relevant Bachelor qualification* within the last 12 months, and;
  • Be able to commence full time employment in Tasmania in March 2024, and:
  • Have full time working rights in Australia for the next 2 years.

*Relevant qualifications include undergraduate degrees in Engineering, Data Science/Analytics, Finance/Accounting or Law. Please note that this program is not available to students who are graduating from a Masters qualification.
