Your role

Suncorp Group's Legal team​ is responsible for overseeing Suncorp’s legal affairs and the mitigation of legal risks throughout Australia and New Zealand, along with the company ​secretariat and governance services for Suncorp in both countries. The team is also responsible for preventing, detecting​ and investigating fraudulent behaviour on behalf of Suncorp.

As part of the graduate program, you will have the opportunity to complete four six-month rotations through the different Legal teams such as Corporate Advisory, Litigation & Advice, Group Dispute Resolution & Investigations, & Insurance Advisory, gaining exposure to their wider business. They also support the completion of your Practical Legal Training (PLT) during the program!

To be eligible for the Suncorp 2024 Graduate Program you must have:

  • Full working rights in Australia or New Zealand
  • Partial or full completion of undergraduate level study with an Australian or New Zealand University (or equivalent Tertiary Institution) within the last 3 years (2021 - 2023), and have completed a minimum of undergraduate level study prior to the program commencing
  • Minimum ‘pass’ grade
