Office & Workplace at Queensland Government

7.4
7.4 rating for Workplace, based on 22 reviews
Please comment on your company's office space, location and facilities. And while we're at it, please tell us a little about the dress code.
Well located but very open and often sparsely populated. Could be significantly smaller and more personal to account for the change in working habits of staff.

Ed House was good. I do prefer the pods and higher walls over there in comparison to AM60.

Office space is fairly standard - hot desking. Dress code is informal business attire. The location is great, close to shops and too hard to get to from home.

Office space is ok, it could be better, although the company has offices in different locations, some better than others. In terms of dress code, there is no formal one, however, business casual is predominant.

Office space is okay, clean desks and new chairs, lots of parking. Dress code is relaxed for men, anything with a collar and long pants is okay.

Plain colours, 4 desks to a pod, standard bathroom facilities, basic kitchen, flexible dress code.

The office space is very standard (not particularly personable or inviting) but there is an amazing kitchen and dining space that allows workers to take their break. The location is so accessible and was easy to locate, while the facilities include an end-of-trip-facility which I really appreciate. The dress code is what I imagine most business settings to be, a smart-casual style of clothing (so for me that means a button-up shirt and long pants with leather shoes).

Office space is open plan. Dress code is semi-professional.

Better than my previous job, have a dedicated desk which is much better for socialising - stuck a bit of a way from my direct colleagues though but easy enough to walk over there.

The office is decent. Business casual is the dress code, t-shirt and jeans.

Fairly standard. The kitchen utilities are nice.

Dress code is formal because it's corporate job.

It's far from the city which can be annoying with commute and when you want to get lunch but it is beautiful to be surrounded by trees. The dress code is pretty loose, you're allowed coloured hair and my coworkers have worn silly Christmas shirts in December.

Reasonably good location in the city. Building is well maintained, good screens for workstations.

Good location. Office space and facilities are great. Dress code is smart/business casual with casual Friday.

Dress code - collared shirt or button up. Smart casual clothing.

Dress code is smart casual, can be casual. Office space is great in that there is a car park, cafe, and good seating areas. Only missing 1 ranking because my office has no windows.
