Very diverse workplace.

Mars has a lot of diversity in general and clearly values it, however due to the location of the central coast, there isn't much diversity in my office itself. However, I have never felt ostracised because of my race or gender.

It would be great to see some greater representation of women in the leadership team at mars. It was quite disappointing when the leadership team were sitting up on stage and there were only 2 females out of about 10.

Mars is an incredibly diverse company where there's always lots of training in order to become more diverse and inclusive. I understand even the recruitment process is changing with regards to the psychometric testing as it was found though consulting with disability advocates that you could be missing a whole group of capable individuals based on their inability to perform the psychometric tests

What does your company do to attract applicants from less privileged backgrounds?
There are statements that they encourage diversity on job advertisements which is promising. They also recruit and form partnerships with a wide range of university's, as opposed to just the higher ranking ones.
