What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
I am a graduate student so the pay is competitive but more would be nice.
Graduate, Melbourne - 28 Jul 2023
From what I've seen it's fairly high pay for a graduate role, but it doesn't increase too much afterwards and is apparently below average for a regular software engineer.
Graduate, Melbourne - 27 Jul 2023
The pay and bonuses are very fair for a first year graduate. I earn more than others that graduated in my year across business and commerce streams.
Graduate, Melbourne - 27 Jul 2023
Satisfied with pay at graduate level. However there is very little opportunity for increasing your salary in this company. Even if you take on a lot of responsibilities and workload, this is not rewarded. Salary is only increase based on time in a role not really on performance.

The pay is slightly below industry average for Software Engineers. But on par for the defense contracting industries.
Graduate, Scoresby - 18 Jul 2023
Could be better, with more opportunities for promotion/raises in the first year. I believe you have to wait until the end of your first year for your first pay increase.
Graduate, Scoresby - 18 Jul 2023
It's pretty good, but not as high as I have heard about at other companies.
Graduate, Melbourne - 17 Jul 2023
Considering most people joining the company are young, money is most important now.
Graduate, Melbourne - 17 Jul 2023
A good entry level of pay for my experience level. A bonus was given this year also.
Graduate - 14 Jul 2023
Fairly high for a graduate role but apparently lower than average for a general software engineer role.
Graduate, Canberra - 14 Jul 2023
The pay are standard for big corporations.
Graduate, Scoresby - 14 Jul 2023
Pay is quite competitive. I'm unsure on bonuses as the only ones I'm aware of in my space is job referrals.

The pay is pretty standard for a graduate software engineer.
Graduate, Melbourne - 13 Jul 2023
Pay could always be higher.
Graduate, Canberra - 13 Jul 2023
The pay is good as I have come from working as a casual/contractor only, so a consistent wage is always nice. I am currently unsure of performance bonuses outside of promotions, however, there are opportunities to refer people to certain roles that pay nicely.
Graduate, Melbourne - 13 Jul 2023
The opportunities to have pay reviews and performance reviews are abundant and allow for many opportunities to have pay increases.
Graduate, Canberra - 13 Jul 2023
Bonuses are very good, pay gets better with time and experience.
Graduate, Scoresby - 13 Jul 2023
Pay should be higher considering some of the trade offs regarding clearance and commute.
