Application Process & Interviews at Gadens

First and second round was a 2 to 1 interview. The first interview was with a member of the HR team and a senior (Senior Associate / Special Counsel). The second interview was with a partner and a HR team member. Final round was a group interview (assessment style) coupled with a cocktail event in the evening.

There were three rounds of interviews - a senior associate and HR, a partner and HR and a group interview, followed by a cocktail evening.

In each interview the HR team member had a set of questions that were asked. The questions included: 1. Tell us about your experience and background. 2. What is your working style like? 3. What are your intentions in the next 5 years 4. Why have you chosen to apply at this firm?

I was asked about my skill sets and experience and how I could apply this to a graduate role. Why I wanted to work for the company. I was also asked about my life outside of work and what I enjoyed doing.

Research the people who are going to be interviewing you. See what their background is and what areas they have worked in.

Be ready to learn and curious about the work. Ask questions and don't be afraid if you don't understand something.
