Working Hours at Escient

Company is very flexible with hours. It really depends on the client you are working with. If the client demands long hours or the project is complex, it is assumed you put in those hours however when the client demands aren't strong, you can either raise your hand to do more work or you can work till you complete the work. It means you can work from anytime as long as you attend your meetings and complete the work to the level it needs to be done.

Escient is very flexible when it comes to work hours. There's an understanding that people have families and commitments outside of work, so there's no pressure to stick to the standard 9-5 unless you have meetings booked. Working with clients though often means you have to adapt to their work hours and flexibility though, which is where some of the pressure and inflexibility can come into play.

The work hours are very normal, and Escient is very flexible. However, clients can differ in their flexibility and Escient doesn’t make their own flexibility policies take priority over the client’s, so your flexibility is at the discretion of your client.

I generally work a 40-hour week and am happy to do more to advance my career and learn more. We have a very flexible hybrid model that allows working from home or the office. If you are on client engagements, the client may have differing expectations on days spent at their site.

On average, I have 40 hour work weeks. Given the flexibility of working from home and coming into the office I’m able to spend extra time in projects and similarly attend personal appointments during the day and catch up on work at home.

Escient is very focused on delivering value and good work over grinding over the top work hours. I have great flexibility in the hours I work however when it comes to client work naturally important meetings need to be prioritized.

Escient is very flexible. The sort of running thought is to stick with what your client wants, outside of that work in a way that suits you to get the job done.
