We will soon open applications for our 2023 Graduate Program.

Register to be the first one to find out when applications open and to hear more about our graduate program and upcoming events.

Who are we?

If you haven’t heard of us, then we guarantee you’ve heard of our brands. Diageo Australia is the country’s leading spirits producer with an enviable portfolio of brands including Australia’s iconic Bundaberg Rum; global giants such as Johnnie Walker, Gordon’s Gin, Baileys, Smirnoff and Captain Morgan; and our premium Reserve brands such as Tanqueray, Aviation Gin and Don Julio. Cocktail culture is thriving across Australia and our industry is one that’s vibrant, fast-paced and trend-leading.

Our Australian head office including the on-site bar is located in North Sydney and we also have a large manufacturing site located in Sydney’s west where our manufacturing, planning and distribution teams operate. Finally, we have a team of talented and dedicated people at our Bundaberg Distillery in Queensland including our award-winning visitor experience, and a sales force located across the country in our major capitals and regional areas.

What about the role?

Are you ready to take your career global? Does the vibrancy, pace and excitement of the spirits industry sound like something you could be passionate about? If you answered yes to these questions then we’d love to have you in our 2023 Graduate Program! Our global graduate program is known as industry-leading and we’re on the quest to find the generation of global talent to lead our business to even more incredible performance! We will be seeking graduates across a number of functions including our Bundaberg Distillery, our head office Sales & Marketing Teams and our Huntingwood Manufacturing and Supply team.

What can we offer you?

Remember those choose your own adventure books you used to read as a kid? Did you find them exciting and you couldn't wait to turn the page to see where you ended up next? That is truly what a career at Diageo is like. There is no one path and we see your career as a jungle gym, not as a ladder. What will be here for you is a high level of support, strong mentors and managers to guide and grow you and of course, our award-winning culture and focus on people, not just performance.

On top of a competitive salary, we offer:

  • 4 additional days annual leave per year;
  • A highly competitive bonus scheme;
  • 26 weeks fully paid parental leave, regardless of gender;
  • A very generous annual product allowance;
  • Membership to health & wellbeing platforms and services such as WHEREFIT and Headspace;
  • Volunteering leave and donation matching;
  • Salary continuance insurance; and
  • An onsite bar.

What is the Diageo culture like?

Are you prepared to take risks in the pursuit of greatness?  Do you hold yourself to the highest standards with real accountability for results? Would you treat the business as if it is truly your own – because you want your legacy to be worthy of that of our founders? Then, let’s talk!

We are an organisation that creates products that are part of celebrations, and our culture reflects this. We work in a flexible way to ensure that you can fit work around your life commitments – this may be a different location and/or flexible hours.  We are a future-focused organisation, that is constantly wanting to perform better and to continue our growth.

What is our commitment to inclusion and diversity?

Diageo is committed to building a workplace culture that values inclusion and diversity. We actively promote the employment of people with disability, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, LGBTI and other diversity groups.

Diageo encourages applications from people with disability and will provide reasonable adjustments in our recruitment processes and in the workplace. If you need an adjustment in the recruitment process, please let us know when submitting your application and we will tailor our process where practical.
