Who are we?

From humble beginnings to extraordinary futures, Diageo is centred on crafting incredible stories of ambitious possibilities. From our iconic global brands such as Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Tanqueray and Don Julio, to our local homegrown heroes Bundaberg Rum, Mr Black and Reeftip, we are a team of pioneers, looking to lead the future of our industry and brands from today. At Diageo, you will be a celebrated custodian of our brand portfolio, entrusted with building brands for consumers to celebrate with in the moments that matter. Alongside you will be a group of ambitious, impassioned and innovative people, who will help you to achieve extraordinary heights and champion your personal and career development to craft your own future. Together, we will create a future worth celebrating.

What does our Graduate Program include?

Joining our Sales Graduate Program is the opportunity of the lifetime to work with Industry leaders across a 2-year rotational program. Our Commercial Graduates will work with some of Australia’s most loved and celebrated brands while gaining exposure to our largest retailers and building the foundations to an inspiring career. The Commercial Program will stretch your thinking and build skills in commercial strategy, discovering and leveraging insights and relationships to grow our business and sales operations while working on cross-functional projects focused on delivering strategic projects to impact our performance and revenue. Our graduate program is like no other. From day one you’ll be immersed in and learning the delicate balance of the magic and science of our sales process – you’ll be responsible for ensuring our customers are supported with the right product, at the right price for the right consumer to find on shelf every day.

Throughout the program, you’ll have a combination of formal training with a global leadership curriculum, mentoring and coaching from respected colleagues and, most importantly, real world, on-the-job experience. From the beginning you’ll be working on projects that will foster your natural curiosity and ambition. You’ll be able to make a real contribution to the business while building a global network of relationships that will support your career, both now and long into the future.

What will you bring to the table?

We want you to come as you are, and we have no requirement for any formal employment experience to join our graduate program. What we’re more interested in is understanding your innate strengths and passions and how we can foster these with you, to help you unlock and discover your best self.

Have a degree in business, arts, science or engineering? We want to hear from you! Our commercial graduate program is open to recent graduates across any degree within the last two years.

What are the benefits?

We are an organisation that creates products that are part of celebrations, and our culture reflects this.  At Diageo, you will have the ability to work flexibly to ensure you can unlock your own potential through creating bold plans and executing your vision.

You will also be rewarded through competitive salary and monetary benefits including bonus, flexible leave entitlements and product allowance as well as being supported via non-monetary benefits including an industry leading parental leave policy, volunteering days and workplace giving, and subscriptions to mental health and fitness platforms.

Our commitment to inclusion and diversity:

We know that for our business to thrive and for Diageo to realize its ambition, we depend on having diverse talent with a range of backgrounds, skills and capabilities in each of the 180 countries in which we operate and to reflect our broad consumer base. We view diversity as one of the key enablers that helps our business to grow and our values, purpose and standards set the conditions for us to respect the unique contribution each person brings.

Flexibility is key to success in our business and many of our staff work flexibly in many different ways, including part-time, compressed hours, flexible location. Please talk to us about what flexibility means to you and don’t let anything stop you from applying.

At Diageo, we pride ourselves on our fast paced, bold and agile culture. In order to ensure we’re supporting the performance ambitions of our team, applications for this role will close Friday 27th June 2024.
