Application Process & Interviews at DHL

8.0
8.0 rating for Recruitment, based on 5 reviews
Please describe the interview process and assessments.
Online submission, Open day, online interview, panel interview, psychometrics and drug testing, offers. This process is pretty standard but from start to end will take about 5 months, very annoying to be part of as a graduate when you are turning down other opportunities in the hope to secure this one.

Do you have any specific tips and advice for candidates applying to your company? How would you recommend they best prepare?
For prospective candidates i would advise them to think very carefully about the compromises of big experience versus working condition. The company knows they have greater opportunity and they pay less than the competitive rate for this role. In relation to preperation - be yourself, if you dont make the interview phase based on your character you will be weeded out very quickly.

Graduates need to ask more questions about the experience here and voice their values and career goals early as much as possible to avoid being pushed into areas of the business they do not desire. Get all in writing. NETWORKING is your best friend. People are wonderful. Be curious and learn about different areas of the company to work out where you would enjoy beginning a career. Keep in touch with mentors and HR representatives. There is nothing wrong with asking for advice and tips to navigate.

Have an understanding of the importance of the supply chain industry and show passion for the work we do. An understanding of digitalization and automation technology would also be a helpful talking point for the panel interview.
