The Treasury’s Graduate Development Program provides recent university graduates a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within Australia’s leading economic advisory. With your help, we will continue to develop well informed, meaningful and life-changing policies and programs which will shape the economic landscape of Australia.

In a supportive environment, this program provides you with the necessary skills, knowledge and confidence to kick start your career in the Australian Public Service.

Our program is open to exceptional graduates from wide-ranging disciplines and backgrounds which include, but are not limited to economics, law, accounting, data, statistics, mathematics, political science and many more. Candidates from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

The two-year program delivers targeted training, networking and development opportunities across two twelve-month rotations in areas such as fiscal policy, foreign investment, tax policies, financial services, social policy, and domestic and international economic conditions.
