CSIRO does a lot of work in promoting, educating and improving public awareness on important issues such as climate change. It works with government to produce policy which promotes sustainability. I would say it is highly committed, but there is always more we can do to better improve our efforts.

Waste and several recycling bins (general, paper) are great! It would be nice to see can collection bins as well, and the money raised from that be put towards something, maybe the land for wildlife that QCAT sits on?

They not only have little footprint themselves they actively research ways in which other high polluting industries can reduce theirs.

They care greatly about this. There are multiple initiatives currently taking place and a forum to share ideas for new sustainability goals/methods. As a research facility at the forefront of science they are also contributing to sustainability and care for the environment in that way as well.

I haven't heard much about any specific programs, but more and more meetings are conducted online for reduced travel emissions. Bins are provided for composting and recycling.
