There parental leave policy makes it difficult for men to take the same amount of leave as women. They have 6 months for primary carers and only 6 weeks for secondary carers, however if their partner has taken primary carer leave (even at a different company) they aren't eligible. Given women need to recover and breastfeed after birth it would then mean men are virtually unable to take the primary carer's leave at any time.
