About the clerkship

As a Clyde & Co Summer Clerk, you will do more than just shadow our lawyers. You will gain practical experience as you work alongside our Partners and experienced lawyers on interesting matters, you will attend and contribute to client meetings building your business development skills, and have the opportunity to expand and grow your networks. We take a very hands-on approach to our program to give you exposure to our niche practice areas in order that you will gain valuable insight into how we operate.

Once you start as a Clyde & Co Summer Clerk you will be paired with a buddy who will help you settle in and provide guidance and support throughout your placement. You will also attend training and information sessions to expand and develop your knowledge and skills. There will also be a variety of social events to attend throughout the program, allowing you to network with not only the other clerks but with colleagues from across the firm.
