As a graduate lawyer I am always involved in the matters and transactions, which can be a steep learning curve, but it also offers a fantastic experience to learn practical legal and commercial skills from your first seat. Every day at work is different and all the matters I worked on are newsworthy.

My day-to-day varies, I could be drafting a research memorandum, conducting document review, writing letters or assisting with pleadings.

I work on a range of contentious and advisory work day-to-day, including ongoing litigation matters, contractual disputes and discrete advisory matters covering privacy, employment, sanctions and other areas. My responsibilities will vary depending on the matter, and may include legal research, drafting, document review and general administrative matters.

I am currently a graduate in the Corporate M&A practice at CC and my day-day responsibilities include helping out with the due diligence process of a deal, assisting associates and senior associates on discrete tasks, conducting research etc.

Running and managing deals, emailing clients, drafting legal documents.
