A vacation clerkship is the perfect way to learn about working at Clifford Chance and meet our people.

We recruit students that we believe have the potential and ambition to join us once their degrees are completed.

During the 4-week program, you will be given opportunity to:

  • assigned mentor (experienced lawyer)
  • interact with team members across our global network – sit with the team and working on real, live clients projects
  • be treated as part of our team and given opportunities to demonstrate your abilities,
  • visit our Sydney office to meet our colleagues (subject to business needs)
  • gain real insight into life as a lawyer at an elite global law firm
  • participate in two rotations across different practice areas during the Clerkship Program
  • work alongside partners and fee earners on real-time matters; and
  • opportunity to attend world-class training

To be successful, in addition to a strong academic record, you will need to demonstrate the following qualities:
