Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
Great culture both at work and outside of work. Very friendly, welcoming people.
Graduate, Perth - 07 Dec 2022
The culture is dependent on the team and shift that you are on. I have found people generally very helpful and supportive.

Great, everyone is really friendly and social. Us graduates even catch up outside of work
Graduate, Perth - 07 Dec 2022
Culture to encourage training and development of staff is wonderful. Socialising amongst colleagues is dependent on individual team culture but mostly encouraged.
Graduate, Olympic Dam - 02 Dec 2022
Culture is good within the Perth office. Everyone is friendly. Only issue is not many people come into office. Even with people in office not much interaction with people of other floors unless you set up something explicitly to see them.
Graduate, Perth - 01 Dec 2022
In office hours - openness and approachable to ask anybody for advice or support, generally very inclusive Out of office hours - don't promote working long hours and interested in people's life outside of work
Graduate, Perth - 01 Dec 2022
The culture is very inclusive within all the teams I have seen. There is a clear structure within the teams with good cooperation and socializing both in and outside the office.
Graduate, Adelaide - 01 Dec 2022
The culture is quite very accommodating for personal circumstances and to learn. The team I work with has very good communication with enables good work culture and high performance
Graduate, Perth (Pilbara region) - 30 Nov 2022
Really great culture. Colleagues on my site are down to earth and willing to help one another out. Do have a structured org chart, but leaders treat everyone as equal. Socialise at work with casual chats, but socialising does not occur out of work.
Graduate, Perth - 28 Nov 2022
Good culture in terms of safety, team work, socializing, etc. There is a fairly strong hierarchy though as well as separation between work groups.
Graduate, Perth - 28 Nov 2022
Depends on team, but currently fantastic. Lots of socializing between teams after hours.
Graduate, Perth - 28 Nov 2022
Very inclusive and positive culture from the top down
Graduate, Newman - 28 Nov 2022
Very long hours which go beyond rostered times (averaging 13h shifts on a 10h roster), and the work doesn't stop when you leave site. Due to it being a 24/7 operation, you end up being on-call at all times, regardless of whether you are meant to be working or not. The people are great to work with and helps out when they can. Lots of social events within the team which leads to a very friendly atmosphere.
Graduate, Roxby Downs - 28 Nov 2022
I work site-based, there is typically a social sport/event run most nights at camp for anyone interested (not graduate exclusive). In addition to this, we as graduates typically arrange weekend social events once a month.
Graduate, Newman/Perth - 28 Nov 2022
Work/life balance is quite poor - a lot of people working longer hours than contracted and working through or not taking lunch breaks. The vocabulary around mental health, inclusion and diversity is improving, but still has a way to go. People are all very work focused and driven, making it hard to discuss non-work subjects outside of work. In the workplace however, this means that colleagues are very helpful for work related activities/tasks.
Graduate, Olympic Dam, Roxby Downs - 28 Nov 2022
After hours very minimal and not very existent. During office hours the Brisbane office in particular isn't very lively.
Graduate, Brisbane - 28 Nov 2022
I'd prefer to spend time alone than with people within the company.
Graduate, Winchester - 28 Nov 2022
Culture is poor in my office/department a lot of office politics have to be navigated around to do my job. I find my one up difficult to communicate with and have been singled out and treated unfairly in my opinion. When I reached out to my two up they just went back and told all this to my one up and this has made things worse.
