8.7 rating for Culture, based on 18 reviews
Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
BDO has really good business culture. It culture includes ONE, BOLD, HUMAN, STRIVE and HEART, which values people's wellbeing and personal development. Based on my past half-year experience, I found that people here are very approachable and helpful.

Partners are very approachable, and seniors are generally very happy to chat with and offer assistance. Early careers events are held once a quarter. People are friendly!

All employees are treated the same, everyone sees the importance in a collaborative environment hence there is a strong emphasis on company culture

At BDO everyone is easily accessible and open to chat regardless of organisation structure and hierarchy which I believe makes BDO stand out and a more valuable place to work. With such a friendly and open team it becomes easier and more encouraging to socialise and work well with those around you.

The best thing about my company is the culture, not only is it very diverse but the partners and managers are approachable. I can always go to them and ask questions. They are always willing to help no matter how busy they are. I have made so many friends from the office and sometimes we spend our weekends together. Teamwork is very important and we work cooperatively in order to come up with good ideas and be more productive with our work

I love the people I work with but not enough effort is made from people in the corporate tax team to really nurture the culture. People just aren't in the office enough.

Everyone in the office is pretty down-to-earth, genuine and easy-going. No pressuring or negative situation encountered so far.

Not a lot of after hours team building is done with the team currently. The partners and managers are not seen as a part of the working force of the team, more as overseers and demand makers. The consultants are the only ones to develop a team culture that fits into the companies culture.

Its a flat organisation structure, management is approachable and easy to get along with. There is respect for personal time and work life balance.

The culture is good. Once work is done you barley carry work home
