Your role

As a global management consulting firm, Bain & Company works with the world’s leading businesses to help redefine their industries and adapt to a rapidly changing world. Their Australian practice is looking for deep thinkers, connectors, disruptors, and champions as Associate Consultants to join their teams and solve the world’s most complex problems.

As an associate consultant, you’ll apply and develop your analytical, interpersonal, creative thinking, business management, and leadership skills from day one. You'll begin as a generalist and be placed in the thick of the action, as you work side by side with some of the best consultants in the business.

Training & development

Bain provides a comprehensive learning and development experience, earning its top rank in the Vault Consulting 50 for training. Operating under an apprenticeship model, the training, designed by their learning and development team, involves learning directly from senior leaders and periodic in-person gatherings in various global cities. With a global approach, the company ensures a shared operational language, transferable skills, and extensive digital learning pathways, offering ample opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Bain & Company knows that when you’re supported emotionally, physically, and professionally, it creates an environment where you can achieve all that you expect of yourself. When you have more to offer friends and loved ones, life is better, and those benefits spill over in all directions. They offer employee benefits including:

  1. Wellness
  2. Financial Security
  3. Flexibility
  4. Learning

Work-life balance

Bain prioritizes a flexible approach to work, allowing employees to choose between office and remote work based on the situation, team dynamics, professional growth, and client needs. This approach is rooted in a culture of trust and affinity, defining the "Bainie" identity even years after departure and creating seamless collaboration with clients. The firm values innovation, data, and location flexibility as essential tools for optimizing client outcomes.

Culture & vibe

Bain has been investing in diversity, equity, and inclusion for more than 30 years, and their affinity groups are an enduring, vibrant outpouring of that commitment. A significant portion of Bainies identify with at least one, many identify with multiple, and everyone here celebrates their importance to its culture.
