There are a good mixture of the people: gender, age, race

Very diverse workplace. Social club runs many events to promote.

86% male, 14% female split in my section when I arrived. Maternity leave is well managed, flexible working availability, diversity networks to support ethnic minorities/LGBT/neurodiverse, more could be done.

I know there is an almost 50-50 balance of men to women. Not sure about others, but the ABS is actively very inclusive, and hires based on merit, not gender or anything like that.

Great effort is made to be a diverse organisation.

They are excepting of everyone and they even have clubs and groups within the organisation.

The ABS recruits/promotes with a merit based system, with oversight preventing any unfair recruitment processes.
