Working Hours at Australia Post

We have a hybrid working model, so we work approx. 1-2 days in the office and the rest from home, and this is a model that I appreciate. My team is quite flexible, and if we have other commitments, as long as we communicate this, this is fine.

General work hours are between 9-5pm, but there is flexibility if you want to start earlier and finish earlier.

I am able to work from home the majority of the time.

Very flexible. Members on my team all work varied hours (7-3, 8-4, 9-5 or 10-6) and this is accepted provided they can do their work and make team meetings. Teams are also very understanding of people's lives outside of work (kids, health appointments, general home disruptions etc.) and are willing to work around any issues that arise.

Work hours is 9-5 if I have something on late I will start at 8-4 but most o f the time 9-5 in some cases they would need me to complete tasks at around 7-9 but its just a quick check and not an all day task.

I pretty much don't work a second over 8 hours a day. There is no hard start or finish time, nobody even checks what hours I work. As long as I keep up with the workload, it is fine. I can do things before or after work and shuffle my hours around easily.

In general, my team is very flexible with work hours.

There have been several instances where upper management have tried to get all staff to return to the office 3 days per week while not providing much flexibility in this as an arrangement. This is particularly worrisome for those with young children or those anxious about returning to the office post-COVID. For myself, I do enjoy going to the office, both for the office experience and the social aspect, however I would prefer this to be a bit more flexible in how many days we choose to come in, particularly where some weeks there may be more outside of work commitments.

Hours tend to be 9-5, but there is flexibility for when events pop up. In times of high workload, the hours tend to be around 8-6 (but teams tend to let their team members leave early in lieu of the extra hours).

As a graduate, on most days I will work from 9 - 5:30pm. During a busy period where I have more deliverables, it isn't unusual to work until 7 to 9pm. Flexibility in terms of hours or start/finish times depends on your relationship with your manager and business needs.

I work 9-5 but if I have a doctors appointment or something on they are very understanding
