About the opportunity 

Our Corporate Graduate Program is a unique and exciting early careers pathway dedicated to providing meaningful work, growth and security. Our graduates will receive tailored mentoring and support whilst gaining exposure through rotations across a range of departments prior to settling in a specific area at the end of the Program. 

We are now recruiting Legal Graduates to commence in January 2025 on a structured 2-year Graduate program. Located in Osborne, South Australia this program offers outstanding individuals the opportunity to;

  • Work closely with a collaborative team of senior lawyers on exciting submarine programs; including the Multi-Class Sustainment Program and the SSN-AUKUS Build Program.
  • Review and provide advice on contracts for the procurement of goods and services and other commercial contracts, including non-disclosure agreements. 
  • Research and provide advice to ASC’s business units in relation to various legal issues such as contractual compliance, intellectual property, work health and safety, environment, information systems, security, privacy, export controls, corporate governance, nuclear and employment. 
  • Assist with maintaining and updating precedents and templates, as well as policies and procedures, and deliver training on legal topics. 
  • Partner with ASC business units in the Multi-Class Sustainment Program and the SSN-AUKUS Build Program.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
