About the opportunity 

Our Corporate Graduate Program is a unique and exciting early careers pathway dedicated to providing meaningful work, growth and security. Our graduates will receive tailored mentoring and support whilst gaining exposure through rotations across a range of departments prior to settling in a specific area at the end of the Program. 

We are now recruiting Graduates with an interest in Commercial or Estimating to commence in January 2025 on a structured 2-year Graduate program located in Osborne, South Australia.

Commercial Graduate 

  • Recently completed or are due to complete by 2024, a Degree in Law, Business, Commerce or similar.
  • Gain exposure and develop capabilities in the contract management of ASC’s head contracts with the Department of Defence for the maintenance and upgrades of the Collins Class Submarines and nuclear submarines.
  • Support the drafting and negotiations for contract amendments to head contracts.
  • Assist with providing commercial advice to internal stakeholders and for submissions to the Department of Defence.

Estimating Graduate

  • Recently completed or are due to complete by 2024, a Degree in Commerce, Engineering, Project Management, Finance or similar. 
  • Develop estimates for the maintenance and upgrades of the Collins Class Submarines and nuclear submarines.
  • Work closely with the project managers, engineers, supply chain and operations specialists to prepare the estimates.
  • Gain exposure and develop capabilities in preparing estimates for submission to the Department of Defence.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
