As a law graduate, junior lawyers, senior associates and partners delegate various tasks to me -- including legal research, document review, aspects of legal advice, affidavit and court document preparation

Assisting both juniors and senior lawyers. Drafting correspondence and contractual documents. Juniors are made to feel like a part of their team from the first day of their graduate role.

Writing internal legal advice memos that the partners use to communicate with the client or with counsel.

So far it has been mostly legal research and other litigation related tasks.

As a graduate, I've been mainly assisting where I can for matters. Other times, I am doing research for articles and presentations.

As a graduate lawyer in the litigation department, I am responsible for a range of tasks on various matters. These tasks may include document review, research, assisting to draft advice, attending client/counsel meetings etc. I connect with my supervising partner and team on a day-to-day basis regarding my progress.

Legal research

I have been entrusted very early on with key matters and tasks

I am entrusted with a huge variety of matters, most of which come from my supervising partner directly. This may entail discrete research tasks to drafting complex agreements and deeds.

Mix of highly interesting work (research for submissions that have never been argued in a particular way before, drafting submissions on smaller matters) and standard graduate work (document review, chronology tables).

As a grad, I get to be involved in a lot of matters and will do various tasks such as research and drafting and reviewing agreements. There is a lot of variety in what I get to do and will not always be confined to working on matters that relate to the practice group I am in.

Varied - research, letter writing, matter management, some client-facing work.

Every day at ABL is different. I get work from a variety of members in my team, including Partners, Senior Associates and Special Counsel. This work includes research, reviewing documents and legislation and drafting.
