Your role

Ampol is inviting you to be part of their excellent 2-year program within the Retail division. As a Retail Solutions Graduate, you’ll have the unique opportunity to dive into a breadth of experience across facilities maintenance, Health & Safety, Risk, Compliance, and New Business Initiatives.

This isn’t your typical entry-level role; it’s a chance to work on real projects that impact an ASX-listed business. You’ll be part of a dynamic team driving operational solutions and contributing to the transformational phase of the retail business. This role offers flexibility to work from home.

About you

Are you a highly motivated graduate currently studying in Business, Commerce, Economics Psychology/Law/HR or Engineering (mechanical or electrical)?

To be successful, you will be entering your final year of study in 2024 or completed your undergraduate within the last two years and will be available to commence full-time employment in February 2025. They seek individuals who showcase outstanding customer service, can solve complex problems and enjoy working in a team environment.

The Retail Solutions Graduate will be a well-rounded individual who can bridge the gap between technical, commercial, and operational aspects. For this reason, candidates who have completed a double degree are highly preferred.

You will have excellent academic results, be curious to learn and be eager to develop your professional career.

Benefits

At Ampol, they’re committed to nurturing the next generation of talent. Their graduate benefits are designed to propel your career forward while ensuring your personal and professional well-being. Here are some of the benefits you can expect to receive as a participant in the graduate program:

  • Their total remuneration is above market! They also offer an Employee Share Scheme so you can invest in your future.
  • 25% Fuel discount card for two privately used cars and Novated Lease options are also available.
  • They are flexible! Hybrid work options are available for most disciplines.
  • They value recognition! They have an internal recognition platform amplifying the achievements of those who do great work and demonstrate their capabilities and values.
  • Care for your Community - Spend one paid day a year volunteering with one of the Ampol Foundation partners.
  • Be Mindful! Take up to three Wellbeing Days on Ampol each year, based on a healthy leave balance.

Training, development & rotations

Hired on a permanent full-time basis, you’ll complete four 6-month rotations across the respective business units where you will learn and develop under the guidance of Leaders and teams. The Leaders bring strong technical expertise, cross-functional experience, and a commercial focus that propels the business forward and they are dedicated to passing on their knowledge to the next generation, which could be you!

You will also experience learning opportunities and career development including LinkedIn Learning and other tailored training solutions.
