Simple and engaging process

Initially there were psychometric online tests, followed by an pre-recorded online interview, an assessment centre and one final online interview

Tedious, but nothing short of what a Graduate Program hiring process is like.

There was a video interview, online assessment, virtual assessment centre which consisted of an individual and group assessment, another online assessment and the final interview.

The HR team are very friendly and supportive. Sessions have been set up to give more information on the assessment centre and an opportunity to ask questions. Although process in receiving results did take some time.

There was an aptitude test, followed by a recorded video interview, an Assessment Centre which involved a group case study and then a final interview.

There were a mix of questions to assess how much I understood about the industry and the company, and why I wanted to work there as well as questions about experiences I had and how I felt they had prepared me for a role in insurance.

I don't recall. Multiple questions about scenarios where I demonstrated x skill or ability. Questions about career aspirations. Questions about my CV. General questions/chat about my hobbies/life/whatever.

Introduce yourself, why did you apply for this role? Give an example of a time you were able to adapt to change.

Tell us about yourself, what makes you a good fit for the job, how do you deal with a dispute with a stakeholder?

I think its a balance of researching the company and reflecting on your experiences and things that you've achieved or learnt along your journey because it can be tough in the moment to think of examples but if you've already thought about it before hand, you feel more confident talking about it. Even practicing by having a friend/family member ask you standard interview questions and answering them using examples is good preparation.

Update your CV!!!! Make sure it is free of errors and make sure you have a cover letter that is unique to you. Then practise talking to strangers.

Be yourself, but also be prepared about what questions they'll ask you, especially in your area of expertise

Practice, practice, practice! The better prepared you are, the better you will do.

Be authentic

Always be willing to learn new things and open to change.

Take some time to research on the company and why they want to work at this particular company and role. What do they wish to learn from this role and what they can bring to the company.

Research the company's mission statement and goals, write down potential answers to what questions they might ask you in the interviews, understand your potential role well
