What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
Pay is pretty solid, particularly at my level. I'm happy for now, but it tapers off at the rungs above.
Graduate, Melbourne - 20 Oct 2023
Hard to say as a graduate. I think for the hours we do, the pay isn't great but like others who work here, I'd rather be paid less and work with great people than the other way around
Graduate, Sydney - 20 Oct 2023
I think we get paid well, it is in-line with market rates, and we have received pay rises every year.
Graduate, Perth - 20 Oct 2023
There are no bonuses paid until Associate level.
Graduate, Sydney - 19 Oct 2023
It's towards the very top end of the market
Graduate, Sydney - 19 Oct 2023
Bonuses irrelevant at stage. Pay is slightly below other competitors in top tier law firms. Could be $5-10k higher to match.
Graduate, Melbourne - 17 Oct 2023
We are paid at the lower end of top tiers.
Graduate, Melbourne - 12 Oct 2023
I don't think I'm paid top-of-the-market, but I'm satisfied with my pay.
Graduate, Sydney - 11 Oct 2023
Satisfied. Don't yet qualify for bonuses until Associate.
Graduate, Sydney - 10 Oct 2023
The pay is reasonable compared to the market standard. With the amount of overtime that realistically occurs, it could be higher to compensate for the amount of work actually undertaken on average.

Good

What are your company's best or most unusual perks? For example: free tickets, free dinners, moving expenses, taxis, pension, etc.
Free lunch everyday, so many social activities, free barista made coffee every day, free gym memberships, discounted health care
Graduate, Perth - 20 Oct 2023
Dinners made by the firm's chefs
Graduate, Sydney - 20 Oct 2023
Lots of committees for people of diverse backgrounds and interests that are all highly active.
Graduate, Brisbane - 20 Oct 2023
Perks are excellent. Free gym, dinners, Ubers etc. Generous private health etc. Leave policy is ok, could be better (we don't get many days leave and are forced to take a week at Christmas).
Graduate, Melbourne - 20 Oct 2023
Free dinner after hours and taxi home.
Graduate, Sydney - 19 Oct 2023
Religious and cultural leave, ability to swap out public holidays for another day of leave that suits you better
Graduate, Sydney - 19 Oct 2023
Not relevant to me at this stage but parental leave policies seem pretty good. Regular perks also available: free taxis and meals for working late.
Graduate, Melbourne - 17 Oct 2023
Free gym membership and exercise classes.
Graduate, Melbourne - 12 Oct 2023
Dinners cooked by the firm's in-house kitchen are available after 7:30pm; free Ubers home after 8pm. I've also gotten free tickets to the theatre and the AFL.
Graduate, Sydney - 11 Oct 2023
Ubers, late night dinners etc.
Graduate, Sydney - 10 Oct 2023
We have the standard perks like free dinners after 7:30pm, and free Ubers after 8pm. The leave policy is fairly standard at 4 weeks of annual leave a year. The best perks at the firm are the sports offerings: e.g. free Studio Pilates passes, free tennis court hire, free registration for marathons / other races, free gym membership.
