They emphasize a lot on this.

AECOM is amazing with this, head and shoulder above others in this industry.
Graduate, Canberra - 10 Nov 2023
I have heard they are comparatively good
Professional, Brisbane - 09 Nov 2023
Lots of different people from different backgrounds and ethnicities etc. Alot of people come and go, even in my short time.
Graduate, Perth - 09 Nov 2023
Many women in executive leadership positions, welcoming to all people and backgrounds. Follows through with commitments to diversity.
Graduate, Melbourne - 09 Nov 2023
Okay for an engineering company.
Professional, Sydney - 09 Nov 2023
High prioritization on diversity and inclusion.
Graduate, Sydney - 09 Nov 2023
Turnover seems to be relatively high however that is expected in this climate and industry, have not come across any negative attitudes surrounding diversity or discrimination.
Graduate, Sydney - 09 Nov 2023
The company is extremely committed to diversity and inclusion
Graduate, Auckland - 08 Nov 2023
The diversity at AECOM is good however, there are few Indigenous employees. AECOM offers great incentives for parental leave and is appreciated by parents for the flexible work options.
Graduate, Melbourne - 08 Nov 2023
Large commitment to diversity, would say that the company hires based on diversity rather than experience and skills.
Graduate, Sydney - 08 Nov 2023
I don't have any issues regarding diversity. I think our office is diverse with people from all places and different backrounds
Graduate, Townsville - 08 Nov 2023
There seems to be action done towards increasing diversity within the firm.
Graduate, Melbourne - 08 Nov 2023
We have regular sessions to speak about the diversity in our company. Our company has an excellent balance in hiring, retaining, and promoting diverse people.
Graduate, Townsville - 08 Nov 2023
Very diverse. I guess they are focused more on what you can bring to the team rather than what your background is.
Graduate, Perth - 08 Nov 2023
We have got a team with a very multicultural background, an even distribution of female and male workers throughout the ranks.
Graduate, Brisbane - 08 Nov 2023
My company has good diversity overall when considering all employees. However, cultural and gender diversity is lacking at the leadership level.
Professional Engineer, Sydney - 08 Nov 2023
The Graduate intake I was a part of in Perth employed a majority of young females. However, the entire intake for NWA seemed to be more male dominant particularly in engineering roles (which may still be more reflective of the industry). The company has a commitment to supporting their female workers, with organised social events by mCircles helping to build a supportive and trusting community for women in the workplace.
Graduate, Perth - 08 Nov 2023
Very welcoming they hold events for it
Graduate, Sydney - 08 Nov 2023
I wouldnt know too differently but I feel we are an accepting and welcoming culture and community at AECOM

What does your company do to attract applicants from less privileged backgrounds?
