How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?
Personally, i am very satisfied with the hours i work, the company is quite flexible but this is just due to my current role. I understand that as Contruction continues and in general site engineers are doing between 10-12 hours of work, which can be taxing.

This fluctuates with the stages of the project.

The work hours are quite long, ranging from 6:45am pre-starts to leaving between 5:00pm - 6:00pm. Overall it has been a positive experience where I have learnt a lot about working as apart of a team to achieve a common goal.

10+ hour days every day with ad-hoc weekends (nothing unusual for construction) My team is very flexible with hours

My hours vary between site and office, wherein I am on site majority of the year. The average hours I would work on site each day would be around 10 hours. In the office I would tend to spend about 8-9 hours. The company is very flexible when it comes to hours in the office, in which it is possible to work from home during the week some days. However, if required on site it is expected that I am there until work for the day on site is complete.

Very flexible, our manager allows us to adjust our start and finish times

As a site based role, I often find myself completing massive amount of overtime. The daily work hours are not that flexible, however annual leave is very accessible.

More or less 7-530

6:30am - 5pm Site hours long but worth it

On average, I do 50 hours per week, not including 2 hours of travel time per day. My current role does not have much flexibility with hours and WFH as I am required on site.

The working hours are standard, I can usually leave at 5 and not need to open the work laptop again till the next day. Working from home is also a good option.

When I'm on site I work 10 hours plus a day, however the quieter days make up for this as I will be able to go home early, or start later - or even work from home and dictate my own schedule according to how busy/ how well i've kept everything up to date

I work on a project on a 10 and 4 roster doing 12 hour shifts. The hours are not flexible at all.

Unfortunately, being in a site role, work hours are quite long and early (6.30AM to 5PM). I do not mind the early start if the end time could be shifted appropriately, say 6.30AM to 3PM so 8 hours of work is still completed per day that would be better for work-life balance.

It's very flexible with one WFH day.
