The interview and assessments process consisted of: - submission of resume online - if shortlisted after this, then a phone interview - if shortlisted after this, then an assessment center and in-person/online interview with one other person from the company all on the same day. - Selection
Graduate, Melbourne - 21 Nov 2022
I did phone screen call with the HR recruiter from Sydney and then attended an online assessment day where we did group activities and a group presentation. After this, I attended a one on one interview
Graduate, Sydney - 18 Nov 2022
Was a rigorous process that included interviews, psychographic testing and also a group assessment day. Unsure why it was such an intense process when new hires seem to come in every month.
Graduate, Canberra - 16 Nov 2022
2 phone call interviews. 1 group assessment day including group interview, mock scenario presentation and 1on1 interview
Graduate, Melbourne - 11 Nov 2022
My experience with the interview process are really good. Compared with the other firms, it's good that Accenture does not have a long application/interview process.

Graduate, Brisbane - 09 Nov 2022
Interview process was fairly straightforward, I felt there was no confusion there at all in regards to expectations.
Graduate, Melbourne - 09 Nov 2022
There were a series of one on one and group interviews. The group interview included working in a team whilst being observed.
Graduate, Perth, Australia - 09 Nov 2022
As I was hired as a graduate, I had a phone interview, then was invited to attend the assessment centre where we did a group case study. After the group case study, we had a 1-on-1 interview with a senior manager and then once that was completed, we were given a hackerrank test to complete.
Graduate, Brisbane - 09 Nov 2022
I believe the hiring process really demonstrated the Accenture culture. It was very respectful, not stressful, enough challenging. Everyone from Accenture was very open and easy to connect with. The whole process was transparent.
Graduate, Canberra - 09 Nov 2022
Apply via resume, group assessment centre and then one on one interview.
Graduate, Sydney - 09 Nov 2022
The hiring process was much better than other grad application programs I took part in. From day 1 you were in contact with a real person, rather than filling out endless webforms, online personality tests and filming video interviews.
Graduate, Sydney - 08 Nov 2022
The interview experience felt very human, I felt as though I was in an environment where I could properly showcase my skills.
Graduate, Canberra - 08 Nov 2022
Online application, 1:1 phone interview with a recruiter, group interview with an overarching coach (manager), 1:1 video interview with another manager, then hired!
Graduate, Perth - 08 Nov 2022
15 min phone interview technical assessment day 1:1 interview
Graduate, Adelaide - 08 Nov 2022
it was great, updated every step of the way
Graduate, Canberra - 08 Nov 2022
Can be very paperwork and application heavy. Systems do not always communicate with each other.
Graduate, Adelaide - 08 Nov 2022
The interview process and assessments were very intuitive and were conducted in a way to make everyone feel at ease.
Graduate, Melbourne - 08 Nov 2022
The interviews got increasingly more intense. With the first interview being a relaxed conversation and the last interview being a bit of pressure to evaluate performance. Nothing overly difficult though.
Graduate, Canberra - 08 Nov 2022
What questions were you asked in your interviews?
The interviews were in a slightly more casual, chat style format. There were some questions around what you knew about the company and why you were interested in working at Accenture. After those more formal questions though, the interview shifted to a discussion on other points that may have been part of your resume or just general conversation.

I've been asked what technology platforms I'm trained or learned.

Why you want to join? Which part of Accenture attracts you most? How does Accenture's value align with your?

Majority of questions seemed to be trying to understand who I am as an individual, experiences etc., and felt like my personality was being scoped out, but this easy to navigate.

Do you have any specific tips and advice for candidates applying to your company? How would you recommend they best prepare?
It is definitely a good idea to look into the types of work that the company does both inside the office and outside (formal work and volunteering). Work out what you like and would be interested in and make that clear on your resume, when you choose which specialisation to go for and how you present yourself in the interview. When preparing for the assessment center and interview, remember to be yourself and let others have plenty of opportunity to contribute whilst also doing so yourself.
Graduate, Melbourne - 21 Nov 2022
To write down points beforehand of what interests you about Accenture, ask the recruiter relevant questions, to read and research more about the company - go on the website; and think of what you can bring to the company.
Graduate, Sydney - 18 Nov 2022
Align thinking and goals with the company's core values
Graduate, Melbourne - 11 Nov 2022
Please only apply if you're open minded and have no expectations. Don't expect for a good training/mentoring program. If you're comfortable with uncertainty and being pulled around in different practice you've learned at Uni then this is for you. Also get comfortable with being on bench.
Graduate, Adelaide - 10 Nov 2022
Just be yourself! Also do some extra research on the company sch as it's values, pillars and what cool projects they currently have going.
Graduate, Melbourne - 09 Nov 2022
Understand what Accenture does and its values. Make sure you do your homework and ask yourself, why do you want to join Accenture (amongst all other alternatives)
Graduate, Brisbane - 09 Nov 2022
Literally be yourself, be forward and honest. Ask as many questions as you can also, show interest in the person interviewing you and the company. Some general universally asked interview questions, S/W, talk about a overcoming things on a project etc. etc.
Graduate, Melbourne - 09 Nov 2022
Prepare short a short, sharp pitch about yourself that includes your experiences and areas of interest.
Graduate, Perth, Australia - 09 Nov 2022
I was told that they are looking for people who are open and trying to learn, and that this desire to learn and try new things is the main thing they look for in candidates.
Graduate, Melbourne - 09 Nov 2022
Be interested and passionate about the work the company is doing. Be yourself - at the end of the day, you're having a conversation with the interviewer and at times, I'm sure they would rather talk to you as you are, rather than hearing your technical answers for the whole duration.
Graduate, Brisbane - 09 Nov 2022
The one specific tip is TO BE themselves. Not to overprepare for personal interview, just reflect on their values and their life. Be positive, believe in themselves. I would also recommend to read and explore Accenture website, blogs, social media accounts and learn everything you can about Accenture.
Graduate, Canberra - 09 Nov 2022
Research the company, prepare your motivations.
Graduate, Sydney - 09 Nov 2022
Do your research! Know the company and their values and be able to talk to why you want the role, remember as a grad you are a large investment to train up so they need to be confident that you will stay and essentially provide a return on investment for them. Above everything else, don't be afraid to show the real you (quirks and all) the hiring process is people centric and so if our can connect and create rapport you will do well.
Graduate, Sydney - 08 Nov 2022
Be confident speaking in groups, don't hold yourself back but it is important to be collaborative.
Graduate, Canberra - 08 Nov 2022
Research the company, know what you're after, be yourself, work as a team, use your best analytical and critical skills!

work on your interpersonal skills. how you present yourself and don't oversell yourself. be the most genuine you possible, and don't be afraid of failing.
Graduate, Canberra - 08 Nov 2022
Make sure you stand out on your CV - it's not all about technical skills Smile, be humble, ask questions
Graduate, Adelaide - 08 Nov 2022
Ensure you research Accenture well, and find business case studies of Accenture's achievements and how they inspire you or align to your own career goals.
Graduate, Melbourne - 08 Nov 2022
Be yourself. Don't worry about knowing the 'what' but focus more on the 'how' you get there. Communication skills, teamwork, ability to ask questions, soft skills etc.
Graduate, Canberra - 08 Nov 2022
One big tip I would give is to remember that they are not just assessing how much you know. A big part of the group interview was assessing how you work with a team in a stressful situation, so I would advise that people make sure they are listening to others and making people feel included when participating in the case study.
