Fun, encouraging and safe

Whilst there is obviously an emphasis on getting work done, working overtime is not actively encouraged in my experience. The different teams in the company like to organise regular social events for their respective members. In addition to this, there are weekly social events organised by broader groups such as technology grads or just the Technology teams as a whole. We also have some clubs such as the Running Club where we meet up regularly to go for runs as a group before/after work. Generally speaking, within teams structure and hierarchy is important for how work is distributed, but in a social setting, it is not considered important.

Really positive and the diversity and inclusion initiatives help to make it an empowering work environment

It is nice to catch up with other graduates (organised externally from work). It is a difficult culture as you may work from client site and may not always be able to mingle with others.

Very flexible. We are collaborating using online tech such as Teams, etc. so working from home or office and at reasonably flexible hours is possible

One of the main benefits at Accenture is the work culture. Everyone seems really nice and friendly. They're approachable and willing to assist when they can. However, I believe the structure and hierarchy of the business is quite confusing for most grads. Most of the grads that started literally have no idea what they're doing nor really understands the whole business structure. You get assigned a people partner (hr buddy) but they're too busy to even make time for you and most of them rarely there for support.

With the flexible working arrangement, being at the office is the best place to build new connections and socialising amongst colleagues has never been hard with the amount of events available.

Fantastic culture as there are a lot of social events which provides good opportunity for engagement and interaction. E.g. after work dinner, laser tag, bowling , parties etc. Amongst colleagues there are a lot of groups and communities which I am a part of and we're all very close with each other which is great.

People is the core of Accenture and I do believe this is true. Everyone that I've met, whether a graduate or a director, was really approachable and friendly. They are very nice and keen to have a talk to you and help you, if you can get hold of them (people are often very busy at times)

My personal experience has been great, almost no overtime on the project, managers and leads are awesome, very helpful and involved with the team. Always available to help out with anything you need. They also are very encouraging, and do their best to involve me into as many things as possible in order for me to gain knowledge and experience. There are many many events! organized in between work hours or after for socializing etc. these can be a great way to network and have fun.

Support is readily available, and the office culture is warm, welcoming and friendly

Easy to communicate with those that are in higher up positions. They also always take the time to talk to you and help you out if you reach out to them. Never any egos involved, everyone is always willing to help

There are lots opportunities for socializing. I love how hierarchy works in Accenture. Everyone, no matter their position, is very nice, supportive and accessible. Everyone is willing to help.

The structure and hierarchy are not evident in day-to-day interactions. Everyone is very welcoming and collaborative from a director down to an analyst.
Graduate, Sydney - 08 Nov 2022
Culture is positive, structure within teams is not traditional pyramid rather one manager, and the rest specialists
Graduate, Canberra - 08 Nov 2022
Great structure, although the promotion process can be difficult, timely and competitive. Strong leadership and teamwork culture, where everyone helps each other and is always friendly. High level of socialising amongst colleagues both in the office and after hours (especially within role levels - e.g., Perth analysts are tight-knit; also within alignments - e.g., Perth T&O community are family)
Graduate, Perth - 08 Nov 2022
In office it is great, managers are there to lead and shape you, there are a lot of support networks and your team is there to assist you. but I personally don't like the drinking after hours weekly. that is not my kind of thing.
Graduate, Canberra - 08 Nov 2022
Many corporate citizenship opportunities. Regular office and social catch ups.
Graduate, Adelaide - 08 Nov 2022
Everyone is really friendly and nice. There's a very proactive approach to taking initiative both in work and also socially. Lots of inclusivity and positive ambition.
